Return Policy

At East Coast Readiness, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you're not satisfied, we offer a straightforward return process.

30-Day Return Policy

We accept returns on most items within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unopened and in original packaging
  • In the same condition you received them
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

Food Items

For food items including freeze dried food, MREs, and emergency food supplies:

  • Items must be unopened and in original sealed packaging
  • Must be within stated expiration or best-by date
  • Items must not have been exposed to extreme temperatures or conditions
  • Opened food items cannot be returned for health and safety reasons

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used food items
  • Items damaged by the customer
  • Items returned after 30 days
  • Clearance or final sale items (marked as such at purchase)
  • Personal hygiene items that have been opened

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact us at hello@eastcoastreadiness.com or call (540) 500-9943 to request a return
  2. We'll provide you with return instructions and a return authorization number
  3. Package the item securely in the original packaging if possible
  4. Bring the item to our Troy, VA location during your scheduled return appointment

Return Location

All returns must be brought to our Troy, VA location (near Charlottesville). Contact us to schedule a return appointment. We serve customers throughout Central Virginia including Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and surrounding areas.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you. Please include photos of the damage when contacting us.
